No stress – this isn’t a survival hike. Just a beautiful day out in nature. Still, here are a few tips to make sure you’re comfortable and prepared:
Essentials – But Don’t Overpack:
Comfortable walking shoes – sturdy sneakers or light hiking shoes are best.
Weather-appropriate clothes – layers are great. The weather can change quickly.
Small backpack – just enough for a jacket, camera, and small personal items.
Sunglasses & sunscreen – especially in summer, the sun can be strong on open viewpoints.
Passport/ID – we’ll be crossing the Czech-German border during the trip.
What You Don’t Need to Worry About – I’ve Got You Covered:
Water: You’ll get a complimentary bottle (0.33L) from me at the start.
Lunch: A delicious local meal is included – with one free drink.
Snacks & drinks: I’ll have coffee, tea, and some sweet treats in the car. You can also buy an extra drink or snack during the drive.
Charging your phone: I have a power station in the car, so no dead batteries.
Rain? No problem: Bring your own rain poncho if you have one – if not, I’ve got a few spares for you.
Need support? Trekking poles are available too – no need to bring your own.
In short:
Just dress for the outdoors, bring your good mood and a phone with space for lots of photos. Everything else? I’ve got it.
