Two countries, two natural stone gates, one unforgettable day! This tour takes you to some of the most iconic spots of the Czech and Saxon Switzerland National Parks – including Europe’s largest natural sandstone arch and a magical boat ride through a narrow gorge.
What to expact:
In the morning, we begin our adventure in Hřensko, the lowest point in the Czech Republic. From here, we hike up to the majestic Pravčická gate – the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe.
Next, we move to the village of Mezná, where we enjoy a hearty lunch in a local restaurant. Recharged, we descend into the mystical Wild Gorge and glide through the canyon on a boat along the Kamenice River.
After emerging from the depths of the forest, we cross into Germany. Our final destination is the impressive Kuhstall (“Cow Gate”) – the largest natural arch in Saxon Switzerland, reached by a scenic trail with rocky stairs and hidden passageways.

That said, anyone in reasonable physical condition can complete it – a bit of persistence is all it takes.
We recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes and bringing a waterproof jacket.
